This is an exercise whereby the Singaporean artist Fauxe spent significant time juxtaposing the ethnic musicality of neighbouring Malaysia via intermittently living there and soaking up and sampling it's various musics and then mixing the results with his own hip hop beats and coming up with this fascinating end product. Fuck, that was a long sentence. He drew beautifully from the deep historic connections between the two countries.
